DMJ Portrait Photography | About
I initially discovered my passion for photography while traveling around the world during my 20 years of service in the US Air Force. After retirement, my passion never waned, so I decided to take a photography course at the local community college, San Jacinto South, taught by "The Light Master" Curley Marshall, CPP, Cr. Upon completion of the first photography course I was hooked and I finished the entire program earning a Photography Technician Certificate.  In an effort toward becoming a true professional, I joined the Professional Photographers of American were I have become a Certified Professional Photographer.

During a photography session I love using flash whether in studio/outdoors, day/night, in sunlight or on a cloudy day.  I'm equipped with two full frame Nikon cameras (D810 & D610), a set of Profoto D1s, Profoto B1s, Profoto B2 strobe lights, multiple Profoto light shaping modifiers and an array of fast full frame Nikon lenses for multiple photographic situations.

Feel free to visit my galleries to review some of my work.

Thank you for your interest and I'm looking forward to working with you and your family!
